Bernie Madoff's last SEC filing

Here's a stab from the past. Bernard Madoff Securities' final 13f filing with the SEC for 3Q2008. Was the writing on the wall? For sure, as Bernie thought he'd be caught by the SEC long before then. So what can we learn? That he only had $222 million in long equities in 3Q??!! He was purportedly running a multi-billion dollar equity-focused fund and only had $222m on the long side? We'll have to do some digging to see if this is for real. For now let's just call this beta. The full list is illegible but you will be able to get it at frs.transmatch.com in a few days.
